Information
Thank you for visiting our home on the web.
Its purpose is to provide you with important information that
will help you become familiar with our practice and to answer
common questions. We always welcome your phone calls as well!
The hallmark of our practice is courteous service and attention
to personal detail. An open dialogue between our staff and
each patient is crucial to a positive experience for everyone
involved.
An informed, educated patient makes the most effective partner
in achieving the goal of better oral health. We welcome your
questions and your viewpoint throughout your time with us.
First Visit
Your first visit will likely be a consultation with the doctor
with any diagnosis and treatment options discussed in detail.
Depending on scheduling and the complexity of the prescribed
treatment, a second appointment is often necessary to begin
the actual treatment itself.
It will greatly assist us if you bring the following to your
first visit:
* Radiographs (current x-rays)
* A list of current medications
* Dental Insurance Information
Please note: All minors must be accompanied
by a parent or guardian during the first visit.
Please alert the office to any medical
condition (ie. Recent joint replacement or heart conditions)
or current medications (ie. plavix, coumadin) that might affect
treatment.
Scheduling
We always schedule appointments as promptly as possible. Any
emergency or acutely painful situation always receives top
priority. Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 7
AM to 6 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 1 PM.
We make every effort to minimize your wait
time. Please call 714.842.7431 with any questions or to schedule
an appointment.
Financial Policy
For your convenience, we accept cash, check and all major
credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless
other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember
you are fully responsible for all fees regardless of your insurance
coverage.
Insurance
You can expect your insurance carrier to reimburse for a portion
of our fee. The amount is determined by the contract between
you (or your employer) and the insurance company. The higher
the premium paid by you or your company, the more generous
the reimbursement.
We will gladly help you process your insurance claims in order
for you to receive the maximum benefit. We can provide dental
x-rays and a written diagnostic report should your insurance
company have any questions about the services provided. Our
motivation, at all times, is to provide you with the best possible
care, regardless of the insurance particulars.
Uncompromising Safety
Infection controls and universal precautions protect clients
and staff alike. Everyone benefits from rigorous safety standards.
We follow procedures recommended by
several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health
Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA,) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). These measures
include:
* Disinfectant hand soap
* Gloves and face masks
* Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces
* Sterilization of all equipment before every use
* Disposable materials as needed
We are proud of our efforts in the area of
infection control and our state-of-the-art stericenter. We
welcome the chance to share more information with you!
