Meet Us

Dr. Scott Ford was trained at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and graduated in l979 with honors in Prosthodontics (full mouth reconstruction cases). He served as a part time faculty member for three years. Dr. Scott attended the LVI institute for esthetic dental treatment in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Scott Ford and his wife Julie have enjoyed living here in Huntington Beach for the past 29 years.

Dr. Julie Ford graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in l980 with honors in Pediatric dentistry. She volunteered in the emergency clinic at the USC School of Dentistry for one year and also volunteered at La Amistad. Currently she is a speaker host for the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association continuing educations events.

Dr. Jonathan Ford graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2007. He scored in the top 5% of the country on his National Dental Boards, as well as earned honors for his studies in the fields of Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Dr. Jonathan Ford is passionate about educating the community and other doctors about dental health. He continues to give educational presentations at Hoag Hospital and Long Beach Memorial Hospital. He is also an active member of the Huntington Beach Kiwanis and donates his time to several community service projects. He lives here in Huntington Beach with his wife Nadiah.

Glenda has worked as a dental hygienist (RDH) in the Ford’s office since 1987. She has a BA in political science from Cal State Fullerton and an AS in dental hygiene from Pensacola College in Florida. Glenda has been an active member of the Orange County Dental Hygienists’ Society, California Dental Hygienists’ Association (CDHA) and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. This involvement culminated in a 2 year term as President of CDHA. She maintains her positions as education chairman and chairman of the California Dental Hygienists Political Action Committee. In addition to her professional involvement, she is an advocate for the Anaheim Public Library as a past board member and a current Foundation board member. Glenda loves reading (especially mysteries), theater, cooking and traveling.

Monica, our registered dental hygienist, joined the Ford team in 1988 with her experience in both periodontal and general practices. After completeing her dental pre-requisites at UC Berkeley, she declined her acceptance at University of the Pacific Dental School and decided to attend dental hygiene school at UC San Francisco. She is a member of the UCSF Dental Alumni Association, American Dental Hygienists' Association, California Dental Hygienists' Assocation, and the Orange County Dental Hygienists' Society. Monica is married and has 2 daughters. When she isn’t at the office, you may find Monica at water aerobic classes or taking pilates and kickboxing at the gym. Monica keeps busy with volunteering at her church, gardening , working on her various hobbies and projects. Monica and her husband enjoy traveling and visiting new places.

Heidi has been in the dental field for over 25 years, 11 of them here at our office. She received her RDA license in 1981 at Orange Coast College. You will find her in our front office available to answer any questions regarding insurance or providing any clerical help you may need. However, don’t be surprised if you see her helping out in the back snapping an x-ray or two. Heidi has been happily married for 20 years and has two wonderful young adults. She enjoys attending her children’s sporting events, reading mysteries and spending time with friends and family.

Debbie has been a dental assistant and part of our front office staff since January 1974. Her job has entailed every aspect of the front and back offices, as well as management. Debbie is also a licensed real estate agent in the state of California and enjoys selling homes and other properties. In her free time, she likes to exercise, read, play bridge and travel.

Leonie has been in the dental field since 1999. She attended OCC and graduated with a certificate in dental assisting. She received her RDA license is 2000 and has experience in the specialties of pedodontics, periodontics and orthodontics. Joining our team in 2005, you will find her in our front office with a smile ready to greet you. Leonie takes the morning shift assisting patients with scheduling and lending a hand in our back office when needed. Leonie is happily married and has two young daughters that she is very proud of. She loves spending time outdoors with her family.

Christy has been with our office for 20 years. She is a registered dental assistant with a coronal polishing license. She is in charge of all back office ordering and repairs. She is also in charge of teeth bleaching/whitening systems. Some of her duties include making temporaries, removing cement, taking x-rays and impressions. She recently started working a few hours a week in the front office. You can always find Christy laughing and smiling in the back.

Oliva has been working at our office for a few years. She is an RDA with coronal polishing and x-rays license. She received her training at ROP and has been assisting for 5 years. She is a pioneer in the Jehovah Witness Church, is happily married and loves to roller blade in her free time.
